Cristian Cussen is Director of Business Development at Ning. Directly prior to his current role, Cristian was Director of Content & Marketing for MySpace, where he oversaw video content strategy and grew monthly unique video viewers from 20 million to over 55 million. Cristian also formed a branded entertainment arm of MySpace, which brought technology companies, brands and content creators together to launch popular and profitable projects ranging from Michael Eisner’s “Prom Queen” to Endemol’s “Married on MySpace”.

Prior to joining MySpace, Cristian served as Director of Development at Scott Rudin Productions, overseeing the company’s literary department and working on movies ranging from THE HOURS to SCHOOL OF ROCK and TEAM AMERICA. Cristian has also worked internationally on the last two “James Bond” movies: as the Spanish language interpreter on DIE ANOTHER DAY and as a location manager on CASINO ROYALE. Cristian also spent a summer at Morgan Stanley and at the World Bank in Mexico City.

Cristian received his B.A. in Economics from Stanford University, and lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Erica Aris, an art consultant.
