Björn Wigforss, 42, a Swedish Military Academy and Business School graduate, has worked for almost 20 years in the areas of business consulting, technical training and marketing. He joined Nokia in 1999 as a technical trainer and training manager in the Networks unit. In 2003, Wigforss moved on to the area of Industry Relations in Mobile Phones, where he was heavily involved in Web Services and Identity Management standards organizations such as OASIS, WS-I, W3C and the Liberty Alliance Project, where Wigforss also served as Chair of the Business and Marketing Expert Group. As a member of the S60 platform marketing team, he worked intimately with both operators, developers and partners to stimulate mobile adoption of Web Services and Flash. in Since 2005, he has worked in various services marketing and marcom roles, and is currently heading Ovi Marcom at Nokia.
