Adrian Monck is Managing Director and Head of Communications at the World Economic Forum, a not-for-profit foundation based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Previously, he was Head of the Journalism School at City University in London, where he is still a professor.
He has written two books, Can You Trust the Media? and Crunch Time: How Everyday Life is Killing the Future. He has been a commentator on the changing media landscape and blogs intermittently at adrianmonck.com or @amoncjk on twitter.
From 1988 to 2005 he was an international television journalist and news executive with CBS News, ITN, and Sky News, winning several awards, reporting from Bosnia, the Middle East and Northern Ireland. He helped set up the Britain’s Five News, which pioneered a fresh approach to news presentation.
Adrian read history at Oxford University and has an MBA from London Business School.
