Mario is the founder of twitterfeed.com , the de-facto standard for automatically publishing your content to twitter via RSS feeds. Having started the service in early 2007 as a project in his spare time, twitterfeed now posts updates from more than 600,000 feeds to twitter, facebook and other social networking sites. twitterfeed recently got seed funding from betaworks in New York and TAG (The Accelerator Group) in London, which now enables Mario to concentrate on improving and further develop the service - recent developments include support for real-time updates using Pubsubhubbub notifications, and the ability to directly post to Facebook Walls and Pages in addition to twitter and other microblogging services. Prior to twitterfeed, Mario had been working in software consulting and development for over 20 years, most recently as Solutions Architect for online market research/business intelligence software companies GMI and SPSS.
